The design of this alpine residence began by creating a series of outdoor spaces stepping their way down the landscape. Starting at a crow’s nest in the architecture, the house transitions to a courtyard with a mountain garden, master-wing fire lounge, as well as a waterfall winding through the upper, mid, and lower levels. A health and wellness zone includes a sauna, a water source pool, and a spa set into an existing stone outcrop. Design iterations progressed, leading to an aspen grove that anchors this house in the landscape and blends it into the natural environment.
