Terraced and rooftop gardens were designed with high-altitude/fire-wise plant material and boulders providing immediate natural beauty to be enjoyed from inside the house, at the spa, and at the outdoor kitchen.  Stairways and paths lead into the dense aspen and oak groves, offering views upslope and strengthening the connection to this native landscape.  An overlooking patio was located to provide stunning sight lines across the Aspen Valley toward the ski slopes and the Elk Mountain Range beyond.
