Telluride Residence

Telluride, Colorado

Site analysis provided the foundation to locate this residence within an aspen grove, taking advantage of the views toward the mountain peaks. A series of design iterations led to a main courtyard serving as the boundary for a combined water and fire feature. The landscape elements weave through a series of architectural spaces, becoming intimate resting spots and visually stunning moments. Crafted from stones, trees, plants, and paving, the landscaping introduces natural elements into the geometry of daily life.
